Christopher Ellis

Christopher Lamour Ellis was born in 1982 in South London, as the son of the legendary "King of Rock Steady”, Alton Ellis. The apple had not fallen far from the tree, as his incredible voice could be heard at the stage of the Rock Steady Easter Gala as early as 1993.

Over the years, he has been on numerous tours with his father. In 2019, he was one of David Rodigan's guests at the Royal Albert Hall. In the same year, he released two hits in co-production with reggae greatness Damian Marley: "Still Go A Dance" and "Flame Against the Wind." Earlier this year, he released "Rub a Dub," a modern reggae love song in which he beautifully captures the culture of the traditional sound system.
