We know Gappy Ranks for his dulcet dancehall tones. This artist from London, with Jamaican and Dominican roots, started his career in the British Suncycle dancehall collective. In 2004 he went solo as Gappy Ranks, a name derived from the gap between his front teeth. He immediately scored hits with melodic songs like Little Understanding and Heaven in her Eyes. Albums followed in 2010 and 2011, with songs such as Longtime and Thanks & Praise. Throughout the years Gappy's star has kept on rising steadily and he has put no less than 8 albums to his name, toured across the world and won countless prizes. In May his new single Send For You was released. Roots reggae and dancehall lovers had better hurry to the Bounce!
