Reggae Geel General Terms and Conditions

Funky Fun Productions vzw – version 9 July 2026

1. Organiser and scope

The Reggae Geel festival is organised by Funky Fun Productions vzw, Vleeshouwer 33, 2440 Geel, Belgium, company number 0423.494.278, reachable at info@reggaegeel.com (the “organisation”).

These general terms and conditions apply to the purchase of festival and camping tickets, to access to and stay at the festival site and the camping grounds, and to any use of the website www.reggaegeel.com. By purchasing a ticket or entering the festival site or camping grounds, you accept these terms. Deviations are only valid if agreed to in writing by the organisation.

2. Tickets

Purchase and validity

  • Tickets are exclusively sold through the official sales channels listed on www.reggaegeel.com, including our ticketing partner Eventim. Do not buy tickets on the street or through unofficial channels: such tickets may be counterfeit and do not entitle you to entry.
  • A ticket grants one person single admission. Once the ticket has been scanned at the entrance, it becomes invalid together with the data linked to it.
  • Copying or forging tickets is prohibited. Abuse will be prosecuted, and the holder of a copied or forged ticket will be refused entry.
  • The resale of tickets is subject to the Belgian Act of 30 July 2013 on the sale of admission tickets to events (Belgian Official Gazette, 30 July 2013). Regular resale and resale at a profit are prohibited.
  • Tickets may not be used for commercial or promotional purposes (such as competitions, auctions or advertising) without the prior written consent of the organisation.
  • The organisation and the official ticket distributor are entitled to verify the identity of the ticket holder.

No right of withdrawal, refund or exchange

  • In accordance with Article VI.53, 12° of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, there is no right of withdrawal for tickets to leisure events taking place on a specific date. You therefore cannot cancel your purchase after payment.
  • Tickets are not refunded and cannot be exchanged, including for tickets to another event.
  • Loss or theft of a ticket is the buyer’s responsibility and does not entitle you to a replacement or refund.

3. Camping tickets

  • A camping ticket grants one person access to the camping grounds from Thursday 6 pm and is valid for the entire festival weekend. Day tickets for the camping grounds are not available.
  • A camping ticket is only valid in combination with a valid festival ticket and does not grant access to the festival site.
  • Camping tickets are not refunded and cannot be exchanged. Loss or theft does not entitle you to a replacement or refund.
  • Not permitted on the camping grounds: cars, motorcycles, trailers, caravans, campers (except at Camping Mobilhome) and all other motorised vehicles.
  • Prohibited on the camping grounds: pets, open fires, barbecues, gas appliances, glass, candles, tap installations, generators, sound systems, sharp objects, weapons and any other objects the organisation deems dangerous. This list is not exhaustive and may be extended by the organisation at any time.
  • Wild camping is strictly prohibited anywhere, at any time.
  • The organisation is neither the owner nor the manager of the camping grounds and, within the limits of Article 8 of these terms, cannot be held liable for damage, loss or theft on the camping grounds. Complaints about the camping grounds can be addressed to the camping manager or to a crew member at the info desk.

4. Access and security

  • By entering the festival site or the camping grounds, you accept the preventive and control measures taken by the organisation and by the licensed security firm. In accordance with the Belgian Act of 2 October 2017 regulating private and special security, security officers may carry out a superficial check of clothing and luggage. Anyone refusing such a check will be denied entry.
  • Prohibited on the festival site: professional photography, film and recording equipment, own drinks, glass objects, plastic bottles, beverage cans, drugs, fireworks, weapons, sharp objects and any other objects the organisation deems dangerous. This list is not exhaustive and may be extended at any time. Security will confiscate prohibited items at the entrance.
  • Open fires are completely prohibited, both on the festival site and on the camping grounds.
  • The organisation may refuse entry to the festival site or camping grounds, or remove a visitor, in the event of non-compliance with these terms, misconduct or where safety so requires, without any right to a refund.

5. Conduct at the festival and the camping grounds

  • Reggae Geel welcomes everybody, regardless of colour, origin, gender, sexual orientation or religion. Any form of discrimination, aggression or disrespect towards another person will not be tolerated and may lead to removal from the site and to judicial consequences.
  • It is prohibited to set up any commercial or promotional activity on or around the festival site or the camping grounds without the prior written consent of the organisation, including handing out flyers or samples.
  • The official sale of T-shirts and souvenirs takes place exclusively within the festival site.

6. Programme, changes and cancellation

  • The organisation puts the programme together with the greatest care, but changes to the line-up are always possible. A change or cancellation of one or more artists does not entitle you to a full or partial refund of the ticket.
  • In the event of force majeure – such as extreme weather conditions, a government decision, a terrorist threat or other circumstances beyond the organisation’s control – the organisation may change, interrupt or cancel the festival in whole or in part, without incurring any liability.
  • If the festival is cancelled in its entirety for a reason attributable to the organisation, the ticket price will be refunded, excluding service and delivery charges and any other costs incurred by the visitor (such as transport or accommodation).

7. Recordings and privacy

  • During the festival and on the camping grounds, photo, video and television recordings are made of the audience and the site. These atmosphere images may be used on the festival’s website and social media, in promotional material and in broadcasts or streams. The organisation does this on the basis of its legitimate interest in reporting on and promoting the festival.
  • If you are recognisable in an atmosphere image and would like it removed or no longer used, you can request this free of charge via info@reggaegeel.com. For images in which you feature individually, the organisation will ask for your consent beforehand.
  • More information about the processing of personal data – including ticket data, camera surveillance and your rights – can be found in the privacy statement and the cookie policy on www.reggaegeel.com.

8. Liability

  • The festival takes place in the open air. You enter the festival site and the camping grounds at your own risk. The organisation is not liable for damage resulting from weather conditions or from the actions of other visitors or third parties.
  • The organisation and the artists are not liable for damage, loss, theft or accidents occurring while travelling to or from the festival, regardless of the means of transport used.
  • Amplified music is played at the festival and may damage your hearing. The organisation recommends the use of hearing protection; earplugs are available at the festival. Exposure to the sound levels is at your own risk.
  • Nothing in these terms excludes the organisation’s liability for its own intent or gross negligence, for damage resulting from bodily harm caused by its fault, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about your ticket, the festival or these terms, please contact us first at info@reggaegeel.com; we will look for a solution together. If we cannot resolve the matter, you can, as a consumer, contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (www.consumerombudsman.be) for out-of-court dispute resolution.

These terms and any agreement with the organisation are governed by Belgian law. Disputes will be brought before the competent court in accordance with the statutory rules on jurisdiction.

10. Final provisions

  • If any provision of these terms is void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain fully in force. The void provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects its purpose.
  • The organisation may amend these terms. The version in force at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase. The most recent version is always available at www.reggaegeel.com.
  • These terms exist in Dutch and in English. In the event of any inconsistency, the Dutch text shall prevail.
